ABOUT
The Friday Night Project began as an organic expression of a heartfelt vision—first imagined on the sands of Coogee Beach and brought to life following a meaningful Friday night shared with close friends and family.
Founded by Mordechai Gestetner in early 2025, the Friday Night Project is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting mental health across Australia, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders of clinical significance.
Our goals are to:
-
Increase public understanding and awareness of mental illness in Australia—particularly anxiety-related conditions.
-
Provide innovative, evidence-informed services that support individuals in managing their distress and improving overall wellbeing.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help Australians experiencing mental health challenges—especially those affected by anxiety—live happier, more fulfilling, and more meaningful lives.
The Friday Night Project warmly welcomes all adults aged 18 and over from across Australia.
